Simon John Beckingham, (born 14 February 1970) better known under the screen name Simon Pegg is an English actor, writer and comedian. He provided the voice of Thompson in the 2011 film The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn. He is a long time collaborator and friend of Nick Frost, who provided the voice of Thomson. He is noted for several roles such as Shaun Riley in Shaun of the Dead, Nicholas Angel in Hot Fuzz, Sidney Young in How to Lose Friends and Alienate People and Scotty in 2009's Star Trek and its sequel
