Red Rackham's Treasure is a one-part episode of The Adventures of Tintin, produced by Ellipse-Nelvana, based on the book of the same name by Hergé.

Changes from the Book

The changes in this episode are made solely for time purposes such as the only consequence of the press exposure is their meeting with Professor Calculus. In addition, Tintin has a smooth voyage in the Shark-proof submarine as opposed to the book where Tintin is in peril when the vehicle is snarled with seaweed. Furthermore, the treasure hunters never return to the island to dig around a large wooden cross on a mistaken idea of where the treasure could be located.
