The Pachacamac was the cargo ship that Professor Calculus was onboard after being kidnapped, bound for Callao, Peru. The ship is eventually intercepted by Tintin and Captain Haddock and they learn of Calculus' fate, to be put to death. The name of the ship comes from Pachacamac, a temple to the Inca Sun god Pacha Kamaq.The Pachacamac is also a level in the video game Prisoners of the Sun on selected platforms.
