Sheikh Omar Ben Salaad is voiced by Gad Elmaleh in the motion-capture film The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn. He is portrayed as a collector and lover of classical music. He possesses one of the three replicas of The Unicorn. Bianca Castafiore breaks the crystal case with her voice, thus unknowingly permitting Ivan Ivanovitch Sakharine to steal a capsule with the poem of the scroll.
