The MS Isis was the ship Tintin was vacationing on at the start of Cigars of the Pharaoh. It was also the venue where he first encounters Dr. Sophocles Sarcophagus, Roberto Rastapopoulos and Thompson and Thomson. The Thompsons arrested Tintin for smuggling narcotics, which he was framed for between Tripoli and Port Said. Tintin manages to escape from the ship in Egypt and reunite with Sarcophagus once ashore.
