Flight 714 is a two-part episode in The Adventures of Tintin, produced by Ellipse-Nelvana, based on the book of the same name by Hergé. This was the final episode of the show's second season.

Changes from the Book

In this episode Roberto Rastapopoulos and his gang use dynamite instead of explosives to destroy the statue. Also, Rastapopolous says that he was planning to shoot Doctor Krollspell, whereas in the book he merely says "eliminate", and does not reveal his plans for the other crew members or the Sondonesians. The group was hypnotised after they aboarded the ship. Allan Thompson was not beaten up by the Sondonesians, neither did he lose his teeth. In the end, the astroship drops Dr. Krollspell off in India; in the book it drops him off in Cairo, Egypt.

Also Tintin does not reveal his plans for catching the next flght to Sydney to Collin Chattermore so it is unknown whether Tintin actually went to Sydney after being interviewed.
