Vlipvlop (French: Wirchwloff; Colored version: Wirchwlov) is a Soviet OGPU agent encountered in Tintin in the Land of the Soviets.

Vlipvlop tried to apprehend Tintin in Stolbtzy, a town in Belarus within the Soviet Union.
However, his plan was unsuccessful as Snowy noticed him trying to put the banana skin near the doorstep, intending to injure Tintin, leading Vlipvlop to slip on a banana peel instead.
Later, he appeared in Russia, disguised himself as a street beggar claiming to be an ex-cossack commander. Tintin invites him to have lunch at the restaurant, but Snowy recognizes him, and takes off Vlipvlop's false beard, alerting Tintin, who beats him in a fight.
Name[]
It is unknown whether "Vlipvlop" is his real name, and he may have just used it as an alias. The name is reminiscent of flip-flop, a possible reference to his earlier slipping on a banana peel.
