Lake Pollishoff or Polishev in Bordurian. The national lake is "Pollishoff", meaning "Lake of Sharks". The inspiration for this lake seems to be various lakes in Macedonia, particularly the Ohrid Lake. It is mentioned in Tintin and the Lake of Sharks.
