Don José Trujillo is a local estate owner in the outskirts of San Theodoros.
History[]
He gave Tintin refuge at his personal hacienda while he was on the run from Nuevo-Rican troops. Trujillo tells Tintin about the Arumbayas and of Dr Ridgewell. Despite these warnings Tintin insists on seeking them out and Trujillo arranges for Tintin to be guided down river by Caraco, a local Indian.
