Brussels is the capital and largest city of Belgium, and the one-time home of Tintin and many of his friends. While not usually named in the comics, it is completely recognizable in the backdrops of the books, such as in The Secret of the Unicorn. Also, Tintin states he is from this city in the animated version of aforementioned book. Tintin also mentions that Snowy is also from Brussels in "The Crab with the Golden Claws".
