Corporal Abu-Bin-Dun appears in Cigars of the Pharaoh. He is a Corporal of the Saudi Arabian Army who forces Tintin to enlist in the army after war is declared with a rival tribe, when Tintin is found not wearing a uniform. Tintin enlists under the pseudonym of "Ali-Bhai." Corporal Abu-Bin-Dun is presented as a typical military force with a quick temper and fierce discipline.
